| | | | | | About: | BLUE THE FUSE are primarily a blues band with a funkier edge to their sound. The nucleus of their repertois is classic blues covers by ROBBEN FORD (they are probably the UKs #1 ROBBEN FORD tribute band...!) and STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN. But an increasing demand from the function band circuit has seen the band move towards a more party-friendly set - songs like MUSTANG SALLY, SUPERSTITION and PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC are particular favourites. Willing members of the audience are often drafted in to help out on songs like LOVE SHACK...!
BLUE THE FUSE have performed at most of the major UK Blues Festivals and have headlined at many venues on the northern blues circuit as well as supporting top bands like Stan Webb's Chicken Shack, Nine Below Zero and The Nimmo Brothers. | | | | | | About: | JON SHORT - bass and vocals
A much travelled bass player having played with the likes of Jon Strong, Charlie Speed, Neil Finn, Paul Buckley, Cleveland Fats, Waking The Witch etc... His vocal talents are reserved for BLUE THE FUSE however.
GRAHAM ANDREWS - guitar
Graham had also been around a bit before joining The Max in the early 90's and meeting Louis. Joined BLUE THE FUSE in 1994 and formed a tremendous partnership with fellow guitarist Theo Georgiou. Has elevated his playing on to another level since Theo left the band.
LOUIS BRIMACOMBE - drums
The only surviving original band member, Bradford born Louis moved to Sheffield in his university days and played with a string of local bands through the 80's including High & Dry and The Max.
